The Family Connection
At FaithWalk we are in week 7 of a 10 week study of the New Testament. Today’s lesson is the story of the Parable of the Vineyard. This Bible story can be found in Acts 2:1-21. According to our curriculum, “Here We Stand”, the goal for this lesson is for the learners to know the Spirit equips Jesus’ followers to communicate the good news. And that they will discover the God continues to lavish the Spirit on us and people everywhere.
Pentecost
Students, ask your parents the following questions and record their answers:
1. Mom and Dad, please tell me what you remember about the day I was baptized.
2. Mom and Dad, who was the first person you remember telling you about Jesus?
3. Why is it hard for us to share the good news of Jesus Christ with others? What would make
it easier?

Prayer: Dear Holy Spirit, thank you for giving us the faith to trust Jesus. Please show us how to share his love with each other. Please use our family to share God’s love with people around us. Amen
Try and memorize this Bible verse together: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
