Join us for a MARDI GRAS POTLUCK

Celebrate Mardi Gras on Tuesday February 21, 2012 (Also known as Fat Tuesday) at 5:45 pm in Fellowship Hall

We are asking families to bring a dish to share. To avoid bringing the same food, we have divided the alphabet in half:

Last name begins with

A-M Bring a pasta or meat dish.

N-Z Bring either a salad or dessert.

pop, coffee, lemonade & Mardi Gras beads will be provided.

 A short service will conclude the evening.

St. Mark Youth will hold another garage sale at the Center in May. These winter days are perfect for going through your cabinets, attics and basements in search of items no longer need. Please start setting things aside to help these young people who are working to raise funds for their summer mission trip. Watch for future information on drop off dates and times. 

As the weather turns colder and soup is on the menu, remember to save the labels for education. Labels for education can be found not only Campbell’s products, but also on Pepperidge Farm, V8, Prego, Spaghetti-O’s, and Swanson products. Check each product for which part of the label you need to save or go to labelsforeducation.com/pdf/eligible_products.pdf. 

Bring the labels or UPC’s to the church kitchen or put them in the Preschool mailbox. St. Mark Preschool has received many free school items for the children from Campbell’s.

St. Mark recently joined a network of congregations who are providing job search skills and resources to those who are unemployed. It's called the InterFaith Job Search Network.
